Dragon Blade

Swords forged by dragon magic. Ancient rivalries flaring into all-out war. Dragon Riders caught up in a clash of hidden powers. A world hangs in the balance.

Dragon Blade, the second book in J.D. Hallowell’s War of the Blades, is the epic conclusion to the story begun in Dragon Fate.
Delno Okonan, his draconic bond-mate, Geneva, and their allies among the Dragons and Riders are once again caught up in events controlled by unseen forces. They must uncover the real secrets behind the death of a senior Dragon Rider and the sudden rise of the Roracks, ancient enemy of dragons and men, to defeat a threat that could destroy them all and leave the world they know forever altered.

Review Excerpts:

Goodreads:
Delno and his dragon have a wonderful dynamic and I love how the story progresses... I really loved both of the books in this series and recommend them to anyone that likes fantasy novels featuring dragons. You won't be disappointed! see Jamie's full review here
An excellent follow-up to Dragon Fate, this continues the adventures of Delno and his friends as they seek to thwart machinations which will lead to war and tyranny. I liked the battle scenes and the final boss fight...The relationship between the Riders and the Dragons was most interesting and dealt with very well. I will certainly recommend this book as a good dragon/fantasy read and will look out for anything else this author writes. see Alexandra Butcher's full review here

Amazon.com reviews

I think the author has done an excellent job in continuing the faced paced action and solid plot development of the first novel. There are some further surprises about the pasts of some characters, and some very well written and thought out battle scenes with dragons, roracks, elves, etc. ... read the first book before reading this one. Solid contribution to the genre. see Michael M. Schoeller's full review here

...The characters were crafted with precision and very understandable....I will definitely buy more books from this author.  see Pam Nielsen's full review here

Very good reading...I would recommend it to any of my children or grandchildren, but a little too much war for the great grandchildren. see oilpainter's full review here

I loved both Dragon Fate and Dragon Blade, they were funny and exciting and
I couldn't stop reading. I really hope that there are more adventures to come.

Amazon.co.uk reviews

...Dragon Blade had a lot to live up to and it succeeds very well.
Well drawn characters, again a great plot following the first books story and a solution that is not a copout as so many tend to be....I look forward to further such stories from this author.
